On August 11, 2014 Robin Williams passed away and I thought it only fitting to review his best film for me. Who can forget the way he shouted out to the troops "GOOD MORNING, VIETNAM!! Then go into a rapid delivery of a lead in to a top 1960's hit song. I use to live in San Francisco during the 1960's and 70's. Sometime during that time I would go to an Improv. Show at a local club. Robin Williams was one of the people on stage. He wasn't famous then, but he was the star each and every time he got on stage. It didn't take Hollywood long to discover him and his rare talent. We will miss you Robin. Thanks for all the great things you did outside of movies. I remember when you did a telethon for the hungry people in this country. I believe it was called Comic Relief. I know you paid for a famous stars medical bills out of your own pocket. You were a great man and a wonderful actor. KCLS has two copies of your Good Morning, Vietnam and 61 patrons are waiting to see it. They will certainly find a wonderful man and performance in the film. Great work by a Great Man!
