VERY GOOD 1957 romantic musical comedy with Doris Day (in her mid 30's) really lighting up the screen. John Raitt (who I just learned is father of talented singer Bonnie Raitt) is great in male lead, especially in the duet (with himself) . Fun to see Barbara Nichols again, too. And there is a terrific ending sequence featuring Bob Fosse choreography. Interesting, that the film includes a 'work slowdown' in pajama maker workers labor struggle against owner.
