If you watch the show, then you've already heard most of the worthy commentary about the show, costumes, future, etc. These books are more commentary on the making of the show, which is pretty boring. The first volume (season 1) had family trees for House Stark, House Lannister, House Greyjoy, and House Baratheon. They were only two generations, but it was something. This volume has none of those. I guess there might be someone who is interested in this kind of thing, but not me.
