One very meaningful read about bully, love, friendship, and growth. I was deeply moved by the story and the concept it carries in each of the character, especially the main boy. If you read it, be ready to not stop at just volume 1.

The story is great, shows how some people look at social interactions as well as bullying.

This series is well worth the read. Best manga I have ever read. It is not your typical Shonen or Shojo, rather it's a slice of life with a purpose. I don't want to give away too much about the story, but I consider this a must-read.

A sweet coming-of-age story of a bully getting a taste of his own medicine. Well, I say "sweet," but in reality sometimes it's sad to see the way the deaf girl is bullied. The protagonist's realization of his actions though is nice, and I look forward to reading how he handles his past actions as the manga shows him getting older. Overall, the manga has a good story, believable protagonist, and a good balance of pain and humor to make it interesting.

it was pretty good itself, and makes you see how it feels to take a taste of your own medicine.
The whole series was so good I read it over three times!

This was a really good book. At times it was hard to read due to the fact that the story is told from the bully's point of view. I am excited to read the next volume.

The first part of this was difficult to read--seen from the bully's point of view, I just wanted to shake the kid for the casual recreational cruelty he does and encourages in others. But when the tables turn on him, the boy is forced to develop his character, and I stopped wanting to clock him and started wanting to see what he'll do. Very curious to see in the next volume what this plan is that he's thought up and how Shoko will react after all this time.

I really enjoyed this. Can't wait until SPL gets the next volume.
