Great 1948 Hollywood film about music and lyric team Rodgers/Hart. Hart really had an interesting rhyming style.

Lots of singing/dancing, with cameos at the end by famous stars like Judy Garland and Lena Horne.

Film itself part of the interesting evolution from live stage to filmed/recorded work. You get to see star performance camera closeups, etc. which weren't previously seen by live audiences, sitting many rows away.

Some of the lip syncing, etc. is, not unexpectedly, a little rough in emerging technology.
