This is a satiric look at James Bond-style international spy dramas seen through the wacky eyes of comic genius Woody Allen. Allen took a Japanese spy film, replaced the soundtrack with new dialogue, and did a little re-editing. The producers added some extra scenes, and musical interludes featuring The Lovin' Spoonful. The film is now about the search for the missing recipe of the world's best egg salad, for it is written that "He who makes the best egg salad shall rule the world!"

A bit of a confusing plot. You would have to watch it a few times to understand what is actually going on.

This is one of Allen's lesser known films.

It is a very odd project, but if you're in the mood for a wacky 60's comedy, then this would be a good choice.
