VERY GOOD 1948 romantic action/adventure film set in 1605 based on famous Alexander Dumas novel. Gene Kelly was terrific as D'Artagnan and it was fun to see Vincent Price as Richelieu in an earlier role than I had seen him before (that I can remember).
Film has great production featuring lots of spectacular horse riding over beautiful countryside, fabulous costuming for both beautiful ladies and different groups of soldiers and swordsmen, and the fantastic swashbuckling sword fighting choreography was very impressive as they rocked and rolled all over the scenery, indoors and out.
