A collection of smart, funny, and often poignant stories about that revelation for all gay men and women: when they first knew. In this cleverly designed and colorful book, acclaimed fashion and celebrity photographer Robert Trachtenberg brings humor and style to the Eureka moments of more than eighty contributors, some famous and some not. Also mixed in are tales about when parents knew and when everyone else knew, as well as laugh-out-loud coming-out stories. This is a vibrant and witty celebration of that sometimes glorious, sometimes painful, but always captivating moment when everything suddenly makes sense.--From publisher description.

This collection of quotes and stories by a number of people reflects the variety of experiences of people in the LGBT community. It ranges from the stereotypical, to the sarcastic, to the unfortunate at times, but overall it's a great look both into people's pasts and their coping methods. Images and illustrations make it an easy and fun read, as well. It largely includes stories from gay men, and I wish it had had greater diversity on that front, but overall I loved it.
