Really like movie but when I put it on hold did not notice VHS format! Had to hunt around to locate VCR to watch. Hope they convert to DVD before next requested.
i like most of Albert Brooks movies. This one only fair. Wanted to see Debbie Reynolds again. Her first picture in 27 years. Sound tracks were good.
This 1996 flick was irksome at first but it turned out worthwhile and had some humorous and poignant moments. The story explored the many complexities and dynamics in a mother/son relationship. Reynolds played the part of an aloof, passive-aggressive mother and Brooks, the obnoxious son, on a quest for affirmation.
