To make Oz a free land again, Amy Gumm was given a mission: remove the Tin Woodman's heart, steal the Scarecrow's brain, take the Lion's courage, and then Dorothy must die ... But Dorothy still lives. Now the Revolutionary Order of the Wicked has vanished, and mysterious Princess Ozma might be Amy's only ally. As Amy learns the truth about her mission, she realizes that she's only just scratched the surface of Oz's past -- and that Kansas, the home she couldn't wait to leave behind, may also be in danger. In a place where the line between good and evil shifts with just a strong gust of wind, who can Amy trust -- and who is really Wicked?

The book was great and Im already finished the 3rd one! The author is really talented I should stalk her sometime... Only joking. But no really the book was so good I didn't want it to end because-yes, technically she's miserable like most of the book but its still exciting.

An easy read, nothing too exciting for a sequel. But I still do enjoy the twist on the Wizard of Oz!

DOROTHY MUST DIE
BOOK TWO
************************************
This is the second book in the Dorothy Must Die series, by Daniele Paige. Like the first book it follows the adventures of Amy Gumm a small town girl from Kansas. This book like the first in my opinion is wonderful and a true work of literary genus! The book was well written and although long it was also compelling. The beginning of the book pics up right where the last one ended which for me is always help full in following the storyline. In the book the author uses a lot of foreshadowing bordering on giving the ending away before you have even finished. I found that the characters were well developed and easy to follow. Danielle Paige leaves us with another cliff hanger as she did in the first book. I was pleased with the ending it was unexpected and set the scene for the third book, which is scheduled to come out in March of 2016. The book itself is not incredible gruesome or vulgar although some chapters are more violent than others but the overall book in my opinion is suitable for children thirteen or up. I can honestly say it is one of my favorite book concepts I have ever read although I found the language a little sub par for the age range. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes fantasy or the Wizard of OZ but don’t worry reading L. Frank Baum’s original book is not necessary to comprehend this book.

Good follow up from the first part of the series. This one seemed to read a lot faster. And flow quicker threw the events which I liked. But the ending has me completely confused to where she needs to have part 3 out sooner then later!
