Anything Battlestar rocks and Caprica is no exception. Just note though that this is the pilot and also appears on the season 1 DVD.

Not as good as the BSG (Battlestar Galactica), but I am interested in watching the season on TV.

Good – Caprica (2009) 90 min. This is the pilot episode (which aired on Sci Fi Television on April 12th 2009) of the new series which begins in January 2010. It takes place approx. 50 years before events in Battlestar Galactica. The focus of “Caprica” (the planet where the story takes place) is to explain how the Cylons (acronym for “Cybernetic Lifeform Node”) were first created. The appeal in Battlestar Galactica and now Caprica is how the writers could create that feeling of “wow” and wonder through discovery of everything from monotheism to the origins of each character. This pilot episode has set-up a great drama (that’s also sci-fi) for episodes to come.

Sexual Content: Lots of naked people girating against each other and having fun but it's supposed to illustrate society's depravity that comes out behind closed cyber doors... I think...
