I don't understand how there are no comments on this book yet! I loved this book. It sends out such a good message, and you really feel like James Patterson "gets it." I finished it in two hours; it definitely isn't a very hard book, but it packs a lot of depth and heart into those pages, and the drawings really bring that out even more! And as Cuckoo said on the very last page "This isn't the end, I don't DO endings," that means we get a sequel sometime soon, and I can't wait for it!

Other: This book does have some adult themes. Curse words are sprinkled throughout the book, there are some intense scenes, and the main character is almost raped. However, these scenes are not anything that most young adults can't handle.

"I'd rather be like them than some spoiled rich kid who pretends he's happy but never gets enough attention from Daddy and doesn't have any real friends because they're all just using him for his money. I'd rather be one of THESE kids any day. In fact, I am one of these kids!"
