"An epic battle begins when a middle-aged American husband and father of two learns that he has lost his job. Keeping the news from his nagging wife and wound-up children, he packs up the family and embarks on a full day of park hopping amid enchanted castles and fairytale princesses. Soon, the manufactured mirth of the fantasy land around him begins to haunt his subconscious. An idyllic family vacation quickly unravels into a surrealist nightmare of paranoid visions, bizarre encounters, and an obsessive pursuit of a pair of sexy teenage Parisians"--Container.

Totally badazz home run of a movie, with the bad parenting hijinx played so precisely I was laughing my face off at moments, & then the giggly French girls eating bananas, & then all the wacko slowly descending around you...this film goes places that nothing can really prepare you for, but you never end up in a holding pattern with some stiff, didactic commentary about 'corporate America' or 'commercialism', which I really appreciated. The bizarro is cohesive & funny, the horror is real (god, The Smile), & it is also no joke that when you're in a state of stress or panic, there isn't much of anything that's less helpful than fireworks. Five stars dressed as Mouseketeer bellhops...!? CR

All is not fun and games for this father vacationing in the happiest place on earth. A satire that explored parenthood and corporate America. Apparently filmed without Disney's permission.

I think you have to question the value of the 'Disney Experience' to appreciate the film. For many people, it is such a treasured cultural icon of modern middle-class values that this movie would seem heretic. Not for the car chase/gun play crowd. I thoroughly enjoy indie productions like these.

i do agree that the fact it was filmed with out Disney's consent is pretty amazing. That being said... this movie is weird... weird, weirdy, mcweirdyton, weird. I am a fan of the twilight zone, but i didn't get that out of it at all. i couldn't finish it, so perhaps in the end it is worth it. It has the same sort of bizarre feel as Eraserhead, but is now where near as good. Disney seems surreal enough to those of us who have never been. But this... this is just bizarre.

A bad acid trip at Disneyland. A guerrilla film showing a surreal vision from a man seemingly on a bad acid trip at Disneyland. It seems like a great episode from the Twilight Zone. i liked the emotions of the father on his own emotional roller coaster. Very well filmed considering it was shot without permission. A side bonus is I have never been to a Disney theme park, and now have a good idea of what I missed (not much :) )
