When the local senior complex, Watered Silk, asks Betsy to teach a class on the tricky punch needle technique, she jumps at the chance to win some new customers for Crewel World. It turns out the business opportunity that results isn't for the needlework shop. A young woman is found floating in the therapy pool, and Betsy's sleuthing skills are immediately called upon. But the list of suspects is more twisted than any Betsy has encountered before.

I love this series. In my head I have a vision of what her shop looks like and wish we had a little needlework store in the town I live in.

I love this series. Especially how she includes older characters or homeless characters. The older lady with alztimers [sp] was written very well BUT the younger characters in this novel were stereotypes of "young women into the party scene." It was pretty sad and made me remember my grandmother's opinion of me while I was in college.

Loved the regular characters. The actual mystery was fairly easy to solve about midway through the book.
