This book is new, interesting and beautiful. It follows designs and concepts over the last two hundred years. Some "new" designs and looks are obviously now being recycled from the early days. The social context of cycling, price and affordability over time, and a bit about women in cycling do provide a fascinating historical context. It will even help me buy my new bike for the next ten years, and a trike might be in the picture!
