A truly inspiring story of one ordinary family's extraordinary journey. An orphaned boy named Tomas is adopted by Maire O'Donnell to live on a whimsical Irish isle filled with new friends, secret caves and a lost baby pup seal stranded on the coast. But when Maire's reluctant husband Alec refuses to accept Tomas as his own son, the boy drifts down a fateful path of adventure and self-discovery, illuminating how rainbows can shine around, and within, us all.

Touching story of an orphan boy who is championed by a childless woman that is dying. Her husband is bereft after her death an comes to terms with raising a child he didn't ask for. Aidan Quinn is terrific as the grieving husband and new father. Keep your hanky out.

I was driven to tears with this poignant tale! I really cared for the character Tomas and his foster mother, Maire. The other characters were well done as well and the scenery was magnificent!

Im a sucker for these types of movies. Quite predictable, and left me wanting more. Well done

The best movie I've seen in years. It's an unconditional love story. A true family film and it's not from Disney. A little independent movie that should've won an Oscar. Having said all that you will need to watch it with a box of tissues. Well worth the red eyes and nose.

Decent independent film. Film was predictable, though. Only thing that made it above average is the film location.
