Black Spring is another of Croggon's masterpieces, with a riveting plot and macabre elements. Damek and Lina will break your heart, bash it with a sledgehammer, drown it in your own tears, shatter it, and then piece it back together before drenching it with acid. A HIGHLY RECOMMENDED read.

Born with unmistakably violet eyes that mark Lina as a witch, this story follows the lives of those close to her, and the struggles they undergo in a brutal society that is slowly withering under a vendetta.
