Several books deal in places with this aspect of Canadian/U.S. history, and the Quebec government's publication of Sanguinet's journal of the Invasion is still online; I felt that this one was written from a less neutral standpoint than I had hoped. It appears that the title is not facetious but actually reflects the author's views. Read it, but read it with that in mind. And please, Fleury-Deschambault was never the seigneur of Longueuil; he was just the trustee for the (underage) seigneur Marie le Moyne!

An interesting thesis about a little reported on aspect of Canadian history. I found it a heavy read for summertime.
