A quick and easy read. In my opinion, Reich is spot-on. We can look around and see evidence of what is happening these days. The recovery is sputtering because the middle class wage has stagnated and people aren't consuming. One of those makes-you-mad books.

It is important to remember, that Reich's first appointment was during a Republican administration, then would later be appointed by Clinton once again. Reich was recently at Seattle's Town Hall in what could only be described as a moronic lovefest! It doesn't matter that Reich supports a raise in the minimum wage, or is against inequality, Reich IS A STAUNCH ADVOCATE FOR THE OFFSHORING OF AMERICAN JOBS THROUGH MORE FREE TRADE AGREEMENTS! Please, try to understand this. If you've never read any legislation, and therefore have no idea of the equal attacks on the workers of America by BOTH the republicans and phony democrats [rightwingers who claim to be "liberal"] at least read all Reich's books and papers, for gosh sakes! [As long as Reich and Krugman support the major tools for growing inequality: offshoring of jobs through free trade agreements, private equity/LBO firms and hedge funds, their cosmetic approach does nothing but sell their books to the rubes!] Try Googling WikiLeaks' recent releases on the Trans-Pacific Partnership, et cetera.

Professor Reich's message in this book to "WE THE PEOPLE" is make sure you know the facts and spreed them by-Getting Beyond Outrage-...Its all about the lies they tell We The People...George Orwell once explained that when a public is stressed and confused, a big lie told repeatedly and unchallenged can become accepted truth.

I find Reich's commentary entertaining, enlightening and enraging.
