This book is the fictionalized biography of the American poet, Elizabeth Bishop and the Brazilian modernist architect, Lota De Macedo Soares during the period of their relationship in the 1950s and 1960s. It is an authentic book and recommended. Of Canadian interest, one can visit Bishop's summer home in Nova Scotia.
