It was really good, but not what I expected. I was expecting a big adventure with a dog named Copper, but I found it to be many little adventures with a boy named Copper and a dog named Fred.

The book Copper has really funny jokes and sometimes during the adventures they go into really crazy places. Some of the jokes from the different stories connect with eachother. I also like the fact that the author told you how to use the fountain pen and make his kind of art. I tried making art with a fountain pen and it worked well.

It's a cute and fun adventure comic. The adventures are episodic, which is a pretty good format to use for these adventures. The reason I rated it 4/5 is because some of the episodes are really good/funny, while others are kinda boring. Still an entertaining read. =)

This is a collection of Kazu Kibuishi's webcomic Copper. The art is beautiful, with images that readers of Kibuishi's Amulet series will recognize motifs and themes. Each comic is also a whimsical fantasy story about Copper and his dog Fred that appeals to the very young to the very old.

Worth reading.

I really wanted to like this-- Kibuishi is the editor of and a contributor to the Flight series. But personally I find his art a little too cutesy and his stories, well, just not very engaging. There are some really nice moments but overall I found Copper a bit flat.
