Terrific collection of in-depth articles, interviews & tips. The miscellany section has those tiny bits of information that can turn a good adventure into a great one. A companion to the other guides.

Post trip comment: I returned the book prior to the trip and managed with just my notes. In the misc. section read her comments on toilets if pressed for time. An alert traveler can find public toilets (tuvulets or WCs on some signs) just about everywhere: they are part of the mosques (Camii). Sometimes a small payment is required of 1 or 1.5 Turkish Lira. Otherwise her tips and descriptions were spot on.
¶ It really helped to have read all the interviews. Sometimes we'd be sitting in a restaurant and suddenly it's backstory would be recalled to mind.
