In this caustically funny, nostalgic, poignant, and moving collection Augusten Burroughs recounts Christmases past and present--as only he could. With gimleteyed wit and illuminated prose, he shows how the holidays bring out the worst in us and sometimes, just sometimes, the very, very best.

Funny, wry, and sometimes painful, like all of Burroughs' writing. In the top of this genre.

If you enjoyed "Running with Scissors" you'll definitely enjoy this book. I couldn't put it down.

Unfortunately, I couldn't shake the feeling that he heavily embellished the last story. I found it too dramatic and not worth ending the book with.
