There is nothing wrong with the plot in this book, but the development of the main character leaves a lot to be desired. The author uses repetition of the same lines, situations, interactions, etc. to drive home the idea that the main character is a strong woman with a mind of her own who has fought against extreme odds. It really gets irritating after the third or fourth time in a span of 20 pages

Good thriller, looking forward to reading the whole series. The dialogue was a bit drawn out and repetitive at times, but the story was good.

I really loved this book and can't wait to read the rest of the series. I had a very hard time putting down the book. It was a real page turner. It was quite a mature read for me though.
