Follow the bongo-playing physicist Richard Feynman and his friend Ralph Leighton as they try to get to Tuva, because they both admire that country's stamps. A great introduction both to Feynman's fascinating world -- he a Manhattan Project member and Borscht Belt commedian rolled into one -- and to the exotic pleasures of Tuvan throat singing. If you're lucky, there might still be a plastic record in the back of the book with some examples of the latter.
Another backlist gem, as they say in the publishing biz.
