I can't believe I've never read this book before. I remember hockey in the seventies. This is really a great read. Dryden is articulate and thoughtful and you get a great picture of what it was like to be a professional hockey player then. I found his comments on Scotty Bowman to be the most fascinating but there's lots of stuff about all the famous Montreal players. A must read for any hockey fan - even those that don't remember the Montreal dynasty of the 70s.
