Didn’t like either of the two characters (the fiancé not the cute Irish guy) and checked out after the plane diversion. Missed the Irish scenery and cute Irish guy, which seem to have been the best part.
Anna follows her boyfriend to Ireland for Leap Day - because apparently that's only place and time it's acceptable for a woman to propose. (Talk about taking feminism back years!) This rom-com will have you wanting more as Anna's adventure…

Definitely cheesy overall, but the movie is a fun chick flick that includes a great view of Ireland.

Wonderful, refreshing although not very kind to the American way of life. The Irish are delightful and the acting is really fun. A real winner although Rotten Tomatoes does not give it a great review.

ok, it's cliché and predictable and follows the formula for a rom-com. It's like THE Quiet MAN in spirit. Don't take it too seriously. All's well that ends well. The two leads are what makes it good and the leads here are fantastic!…

Sometimes actors who contain a high amount of pure charisma and charm can single-handedly elevate sub-par material through their own natural appeal. This very nearly happens in Leap Year, which is just about the most cliche romantic comedy…

A fun, fluffy movie. Great for a kick back and relax night. Nothing difficult, good story and acting. Relax and enjoy it.

Good light romantic comedy.
The first part is kind of lame, but the film becomes more enjoyable once the female character arrives in Ireland. Nice landscapes and a happy end.

Any movie with Matthew Goode makes me give this movie half of another star. The rest is typical gender stereotyping layered on too thick. Just propose it's a new century, marriage will work regardless of who drops down on their knee.

LOVE this movie! There wasn't a lot of funny parts but for some reason I still really liked it. (okay, not for 'some reason', there is a reason, and his name is Matthew Goode ;P)
